The invention relates to the plastics industry and, more specifically, the biodegradable plastics industry. The invention consists of a method for treating fibres and Blue Agave Tequilana Weber (agave) residues combined with oxo-degradable additives for the preparation of a master batch to be used in the production of biodegradable plastic articles having excellent biodegradability characteristics while retaining the physical properties of the objects made using said master batch.
