The invention relates to a method for carrying out the double convergence of the acoustic field in the ultrasound transducers for the non-destructive control in immersion. According to the invention, the method carries out the double convergence of an ultrasound beam () produced by a piezoceramic ultrasound transducer () meant to achieve the non-destructive testing for defects in immersion, by a double focusing on two perpendicular directions, by using frontal biconcave toroidal acoustic lens () ; thus there is produced an optimal positioning, shape and distribution of a focal spot (), and also an increase in the intensity of the ultrasound field in the focus spot (), thereby increasing the sensitivity of the ultrasound transducer ().
