The invention relates to a pyrolysis plant employed to obtain a synthesis gas. According to the invention, the plant comprises one or several fluidized bed pyrolysis and gasification furnaces (4) comprising some pyrolysis chambers (8) and gasification chambers (5) provided with an ash discharge system (9), some combustion chambers (14) and some post-combustion chambers (16), a biomass supply system (1) and a system (2) for recovering and recycling the smoke resulting from the post-combustion of the synthesis gas and from a smoke flue (23), possibly mixed with fresh air, which are introduced in the pyrolysis and gasification process.
