The invention relates to an internet remote operated complex system for investigating works of art by using the laser-induced fluorescence. According to the invention, the system is build on the basis of a Client-Server architecture, wherein the server represents the control unit of the investigating device, and the client represents the user or the remote operator which controls the entire system by means of a personal computer, through a web page, using the Internet, the computer being provided with a video camera for monitoring the performed operations which offers the possibility of precise location of the obtained results directly on the images transmitted by information overlapping techniques.
