This invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising a combination of glucosamine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts (preferably glucosamine sulphate or glucosamine hydrochloride) and paracetamol for decreasing pain vvhile simultaneously improving joint movement, for the treatment of osteoarthritis. This invention also relates to kits containing a pharmaceufical combinafion of: a) therapeutically effective amount of glucosamine or its pharmaceutically acceptable salts and b) therapeutically effective amount of paracetamol to treat patients suffering from osteoarthritis, as vvell as the production method of such combination.@
