METHOD FOR GIVING ANTIMICROBIAL PROPERTIES TO WOOL-CONTAINING TEXTILE MATERIALS FOR SPECIAL PURPOSES

A method for giving antimicrobial properties to wool-containing textile materials for special purposes includes soaking with water solution of antimicrobial substance, treatment with water solution of salt of polyvalent metal cation, pressing and thermal treatment. First treatment with water solution of salt of polyvalent metal cation is performed, that for one uses salts of zinc sulfate 7-hydrate, copper sulfate 5-hydrate, and aluminum chloride 6-hydrate. Treatment with those salts at concentration of 5 g/l and pressing with press ratio of 70 % is carried out. For further soaking with antimicrobial substance water solution of polyhexamethylene guanidine hydrochloride is used at concentration of 10 g/l with addition to soaking solution of preparation Evo Soft CSI at concentration of 30 g/l, pressing with press ratio of 100 % and thermal treatment at for 1 minute.
