METHOD FOR ASSESSING INVOLUTION OF UTERUS IN MARES FOLLOWING THEIR THROWING

A method for assessing the involution of uterus in mares following their throwing provides for ultrasonography. The image of the transverse section of the uterine horn in the mare in the first estrous season following their throwing is analyzed. The presence and the pattern of the endometrial folds and the state of the uterine canal are assessed.
