METHOD FOR TESTING CELLULAR RIGID PLASTICS ON STATIC BEND

摘要

A method for testing cellular rigid plastics on static bend includes application of static load to the middle of sample arranged as a four-sided prism with rectangular cross section and installed with wide facet on two supports. As concentrator of stresses one arranges a sharp cut with width of 1 mm, depth of 2 mm, with angle at the top 45°, and the effect of the cut on strength of cellular rigid plastics at static load is evaluated by efficient coefficient of concentration of stresses K.
