A method for increase of stability of mine workings in structurally weakened zones includes placement of hydraulic legs in mine working, those are installed on tee-beams in the base and in the roofing as well. Then one presses compacted rock layers of the structurally weakened zone due to formation of maximal working resistance of the hydraulic legs. Pressed rock layers are strengthened with anchoring. In adjoining areas of the massif one forms zones of local compaction.
