A method for diagnosing malignant change of gastric polyp comprises the pathomorphological study of biopsy material of stomach polyp. Additionally the immune biochemical research of biopsy material is carried out where a level of heat shock proteins Hsp70 and Hsp90 is determined in nuclear and cytosolic fractions of cells.
