A method for preventing from spreading and development of black currant powdery mildew Sphaerotheca mors-uvae comprises the use of biological preparations. In spring-summer period, at appearance of the first symptoms of the disease on currant bushes, one technique of spraying the bushes with an aqueous solution of the biological fungicide Phytolavin-300 is carried out in an equivalent of 0.9 kg/ha.
