METHOD TO PREVENT FROM ACCUMULATION OF MOVABLE FORMS OF HEAVY METALS IN PLANTS OF FORAGE CROPS WHILE GROWING THEREOF IN TECHNOGENIC POLLUTION AREAS

A method to prevent from accumulation of movable forms of heavy metals in plants of forage crops while growing thereof in technogenic pollution areas comprises soil preparation for sowing or planting observing the agrotechnical requirements, applying ameliorants having sorption ability and preventing from migration of the ions of heavy metals into soil under autumn plowing. Peat at a rate of 20-25 /ha, which is applied into soil in conditions of pollution by salts of heavy metals, is used as as a sorbing meliorant.
