DEVICE TO EAT A HEAD CABLE AT AN OPENING OF A PRESSURED CABLE END. The present invention concerns a device for sealing a HVDC cable at an opening of a cable closure with a housing filled with pressurised gas or air. The device includes a conical sealing element made of rubber designed to seal between the DO cable and the cover at the opening of the cable closure. The sealing element is placed inside the cable cap. A hollow metal holder element with openings for receiving the DOC cable is arranged mainly on the outside of the enclosure at the opening of the cable closure;and has a side that penetrates the sealing element. The holder element is designed to create a space between the DOcable and the holder element; The gas pressure combined with the pressure from the elastic sealing element will ensure the sealing function both between the soft cable surface and the sealing element and between the sealing element and the hard metal flange.(Figure 1)
