The fixture hammer provides a drive stroke to insert fixture clips into a base surface and comprises a hand grip, a magazine with a housing in which is a magazine rail. The magazine rail is located in such a way that in its front edge (6) it can be pushed in and out of the magazine housing and in which the fixture clips are stored. In the magazine is a feed device which feeds the clips forward to an outlet aperture, where a driver blade (10) fitted to a driver (9) drives the clips into a base surface. The driver connection to the magazine is on the outside of the magazine (19).
