Enhanced subscriber cable for ultra-fast fiber optic connections with high-strength improved self-support, comprising two cores, one larger (2), with the optical fibers (7), and a smaller one (3) with a galvanized steel cable as an element of self-support, being constituted from a plurality of wires (12) wired together. The cores are of rectangular section, being separated by grooves (4) that determine a joint bridge (5), of the same material as the cover (6). The optical fibers (7) of the major core (2), are loosely tucked into a tube (9) and protected against moisture by a filler. In addition, a tear cord (10) is housed in the core (2).
