Insulating glass unit comprising at least two panes (2, 3), with a spacer strip elastoplastic (1) comprising a casing (1.1) and a core composed of a desiccant (1.2) and has side surfaces (12, 13 ) intended adhesive support opposite surfaces of the windows, one facing inner surface (14) under the existing interior space between the panes (2, 3) and, opposite the latter, an outer surface (11) is coated with a barrier layer vapor (1.3), wherein the casing (1.1) is composed of a silicone material, because the desiccant (1.2) of the core is linked to plastic and because the silicone jacket (1.1) and the core of desiccant ( 1.2) are coextruded.
