- An air conditioning system that is connected detachably to a port of a plane (823), the system comprising: an air duct (500) connecting an air inlet and a filter (502) to a coupling (518 ) adapted to be connected to one end of an air duct (26) or hose, whose other end is adapted to be connected to the port plane; a blower (508) of variable speed in said air duct (500), one connected to said air duct (500) adjacent said coupling (518) for detecting the pressure of air passing the air pressure sensor (526) and a controller (1514) which receives as inputs the pressure detected by said pressure sensor (526) and a reference pressure which can be varied to meet the requirements of different types or classes of aircraft, wherein the controller (1514 ) varies the speed of the blower (508) to regulate the pressure supplied to the aircraft (823); first and second air conditioners (520, 522), each of which comprises a circular refrigerant conduit channeling refrigerant through a compressor (601, 702), a condenser (406, 410), an expansion valve ( 620, 720), and an evaporator (504, 514), the evaporator (504, 514) in said air duct (500) so being positioned the evaporator (504) of the first air conditioner precedes the blower (508 ) and the evaporator (514) of the second air conditioner follows the blower (508) in the air duct (500); and a cooling fan (414) of the capacitor drives air through the two capacitors (406, 410) and controlled by a controller responsive (1518) at one or more pressures or temperatures measured in one of the air ducts or cooling or in the surrounding air.
