A guiding device or PND comprising a processor unit (11), a memory device (12, 13, 14, 15) and a locating device (23), such that the processor is arranged to communicate with the memory device and the tracking device, and so that the navigation device (10) is arranged additionally to: - detect parking of a vehicle and, when parking is detected, - determine information regarding the position of the parked vehicle using the localization device, and - storing in the memory device information on the position of the parked vehicle, wherein the navigation device is arranged to detect parking of a vehicle by analyzing data position as measured by the locating device, and comparison of said position data with map data or ca rtográficos stored in the memory device.
