Process for the preparation of chelated micronutrients plant wherein the salt is reacted tetrasodium N- (1,2-dicarboxyethyl) -D, L-aspartic as compound (A) with an inorganic compound (B) of a chloride, nitrate, acetate, of the polyvalent metal ions of iron, manganese, copper or zinc sulfate or these are formed by reaction of the complexing compound (a) with an inorganic compound (C) a hydroxide, carbonate or oxide thereof polyvalent metal ions with addition of inorganic or organic acids.
