A wet shaving system comprising a leaf element and a part acting on the skin close to said leaf element, the part acting on the skin comprising a solid polymeric shaving adjuvant composite, including an exposed part containing a water soluble shaving aid dispersed in a water insoluble polymer matrix, in which at least a part of the water soluble shaving aid is coated with mineral oil, characterized in that the mineral oil is present in a concentration of 2% at 6% based on the total weight of the water-soluble shaving aid.
