The use of (i) an antigen from influenza virus comprising hemagglutinin and (ii) an adjuvant component comprising an aluminum salt in the preparation of a medicament for generating an immune response in a patient, wherein the medicament comprises the antigen and adjuvant as separate components for extemporaneous mixture at the time of use.
