An optical fiber ribbon comprising a pluralityof the coated optical fibers 2 arranged in planeand flame-retardant films 4a and 4b to integratethe coated optical fibers 2 is provided. Theflame-retardant films 4a and 4b have an adhesivelayer 5 formed thereon, and a plurality of thecoated optical fibers 2 arranged in plane areintegrated by the adhesive layer. The opticalfiber ribbon 1 in this constitution uses flame-retardantfilms, wherein the ribbon thickness canbe lowered and separation of single fiber can befacilitated by tearing off the film.
