A urinary catheter apparatus for measuring the internal pressure of a human orother mammal comprising an elongated urinary catheter having at least twolumen extending longitudinally there-through, at least one channel where thewall is composed of a material being substantially impermeable to liquid,where the interior of the catheter allows the transmission of change ofpressure through lumen via a pressure transmitting medium, and pressure sensormeans for measuring the pressure of pressure transmitting medium.
