A method for increasing productionin a reservoir, comprising performing a swabbing testat a depth in a pipe, wherein the pipe is located in awellbore and wherein a portion of the wellbore is locatedinside the reservoir, periodically measuring, during theswabbing test, pressure in the bottom portion of thepipe using the pressure gauge to obtain a plurality ofpressure measurements, wherein the pressure gauge isaffixed to an inner wall of a bottom portion of the pipe,and determining a plurality of flow rates of fluid flowingfrom the reservoir through perforations in the wellboreinto the pipe using a flow rate equation and the pluralityof pressure measurements.
