A mobile wireless communications device includes anear field communications (NFC) device, a motion sensing device,and a memory configured to store access information for each ofa plurality of payment accounts. A processor cooperates with theNFC device, the motion sensing device, and the memory. Theprocessor is configured to recognize a movement pattern basedupon the motion sensing device, determine a given paymentaccount from among the plurality thereof based upon the movementpattern, and send corresponding access information for the givenpayment account to a transaction terminal via the NFC device. Insome applications, the processor may determine a given paymentaccount from among the plurality thereof based upon an imageassociated with a transaction terminal and captured by anoptical sensor, and send corresponding access information forthe given payment account to the transaction terminal via theNFC device.
