Teeth whitening material and teeth whitening method

Disclosed is a teeth whitening material comprising perglutaric acid and/or polyacrylic acid as a whitening ingredient. Also disclosed is a teeth whitening method characterized by adhering the teeth whitening material in a diluted or undiluted form onto the surface of a teeth. The teeth whitening material can also be used as a home breeching material for breaching or removing a (colored or discolored) pigment deposited on a teeth which does not always need irradiation with light, is safe and is easy to handle.
