SERVICE MAINTENANCE METHOD AND SYSTEM IN AN INTELLIGENT OPTICAL NETWORK

The present invention pertains to the technical field of Automatically Switched Optical Network (ASON), and provides a service maintenance method and system in an intelligent optical network. When a certain section of fiber link is necessary to be maintained in the network, a network management platform issues a link maintenance command to the both end nodes of the link. After receiving the link maintenance command, the nodes query the services on the link first, locate the head node of the service according to a service label, and transmit the link maintenance command to the head node, and then the head node initiates the service maintenance. By transmitting the link maintenance command to different head nodes, each head node initiates the maintenance command automatically one by one, and thereby all the services on the link are maintained, the complexity of the present link maintenance is avoided, the network management platform is only needed to issue the link maintenance command, all the service maintenance can be accomplished automatically, one bottleneck of the present batch service maintenance is solved, and the work efficiency is improved.
