A wind-wheel blade for vertical axis wind power generator includes a blade-shaped frame (1) and an outer skin fixed on the frame. The blade is constructed as a vertical column form, and its horizontal section is aerofoil-section shaped, that is, the outside surface of the blade is a streamline cambered surface. The smooth transition portion between the outside surface and the opposite inside surface forms a big windward end of the blade, i.e. the leading portion of the blade. Due to the streamline shape and the specific frame structure, the blade has such advantages as light weight, improved strength and rigidity, simple manufacture and assembly and high shaping accuracy.
