A supporting rod structure of a wind wheel in a vertical axis wind power generator includes supporting rods (1,9,10) provided between blades (0) and a hub or rotating parts of a generator (7). One end of the supporting rod (1,9,10) is provided with a connecting structure (3) connected with an inner side surface of the blade (0), and the other end is provided with a connecting structure (3') connected with the hub or the rotating parts of the generator (7). By using this supporting rod structure, the strength and stiffness of connecting and supporting the blades can be increased and the wind wheel can operate safely.
