#$%^&*AU2011100510B420120405.pdf#####ABSTRACT: A floor drain assembly 50 for mounting on a drain pipe or floor waste for draining water away 5 from a floor region is disclosed. The drain assembly 50 comprises a drain support 56 for being received within the drain pipe and a grate 52 mounted on the drain support and extending across a drain opening. It also includes a water trap 10 including a trap housing 12 having a mounting formation for removably mounting the trap 10 on the drain support. The mounting formation and drain support are configured so that the trap housing 12 rests 0 on the drain support. The trap 10 also includes a trap downcomer 16 mounted on the trap housing 12. The downcomer 16 defines a water inlet 20 and the trap housing 12 defines a water outlet 14 through which water can exit the trap 16. The trap downcomer 16 combines with the trap housing to define a water seal when the water trap is in use. In a preferred form the drain support comprises a puddle flange 60 which is mounted on the drain and an 5 adaptor 56 which is adjustably mounted on the puddle flange 60. Fig. 8 for publication
