#$%^&*AU2012100850A420120705.pdf#####ABSTRACT Disclosed is a method servicing three types of user audiences within a rewards platform utilizing a universal point system, namely: (1) a user that purchases points to set up their own rewards program to reward different classes of users, (2) a user that utilizes free (non-purchased) points to set up their own rewards program to reward different classes of users and (3) a user that earns and redeems points following completion of predetermined activities. In one embodiment, the invention regulates the manner in which purchased, free, earned and redeemed points behave in an ecosystem. A method is disclosed for the exchange of points for services, goods and monetary value on a global scale. Other features of the disclosure involve the use of quarantining points when setting up rewards programs, deriving specific extrinsic values for the purposes of branding and a process of favoring rewards programs with one action.1/8 DRAWINGS.
