The present invention describes an installation for communication between a mobile client and at least one client on the ground of a set of radio bases distributed over a journey of the mobile client, for which: - an association of connection between mobile client and ground client is performed under a protocol of type equivalent to CSMA according to IEEE 802, - the set of radio bases is subdivided into adjacent cells of radio bases for which a transmission of data with the mobile client in one of the cells is performed under a TDMA time division multiplexing mode with the radio bases of said cell; - two adjacent cells (A, B) impose mutually interference-free communication channels on their radio bases (for example distinct frequency channels, or disjoint permitted transmit periods); - an exchange of data between a base of a cell and the mobile client is permitted after checking of the lag between two data packets transmitted under the TDMA time division multiplexing mode and under a single channel.
