Provided are a bone conduction-based earphone, a bone conduction-based headphone, and a method for operating a medium device using same. The bone conduction-based earphone of the present invention comprises: a bone conduction sensor for detecting the sound transmitted through a bone and a control unit for operating a medium device connected to the earphone according to a pattern of the sound detected through the sensor. The earphone or the headphone of the present invention simultaneously transmits the air conduction sound transmitted from the medium device and the bone conduction sound generated from the collision between the teeth of a person using an independent mode with respect to each other. A user receives sound information such as music therethrough and can simultaneously and effectively control the medium device using the bone conduction sound through the collision of the teeth. Accordingly, the user can effectively operate and control the medium device using the teeth and the like without performing an operation using hands.
