A method, apparatus and remote video conference system for playing audio of a remote participator are provided. The method include the following steps: audio of a remote conference site participator is received; by means of two or more loudspeakers mounted respectively at the top and bottom of the remote image presentation device in the local conference site, transmission path between the two or more loudspeakers and the local conference site participators is simulated with predetermined algorithm, wherein the simulation means that the transmission path is simulated between the head of the remote conference site participator in the remote image presentation device and the head of the local participators. The present invention simulates the transmission path between the two loudspeakers and the local conference site participators with predetermined algorithm, thus enabling the local conference site participators accurately perceive the horizontal and vertical position between the sound of the remote conference site participator displayed in the remote image presentation device and the image actually seen when conducting a video conference with the remote conference site participator.
