According to the present invention, a golf information providing apparatus comprises: a case in which each component and a battery for supplying power to each component are mounted; a GPS module for generating location information using a satellite signal; a storage unit for storing golf course information which includes hole information and target information; a distance calculation unit for extracting a hole corresponding to the location information through the use of the location information and the golf course information according to a first input of an operation button, and calculating a distance from the current location to a target in the extracted hole; and a distance guide unit for announcing the calculated distance via only a voice, thus miniaturizing various golf-related information provision apparatus.
