SELF-HEALING METHOD AND BASE STATION FOR OBTAINING BASIC CONFIGURATION PARAMETERS IN SELF-CONFIGURATION PROCESS OF BASE STATION

A self-healing method and base station for obtaining basic configuration parameters in the self-configuration process of a base station are provided. The method includes: if a base station fails to request the basic configuration parameter information of itself in the self-configuration process, the base station transmits a distress sounding broadcast message to neighbor base stations; after receiving the distress sounding broadcast message, and if a neighbor base station succeeds in obtaining basic configuration parameters of itself, the neighbor base station broadcasts a rescue response message to the base station and other neighbor base stations; the base station selects one from all neighbor base stations broadcasting the rescue response messages as a rescue base station, and requests the rescue base station to substitute for it to request the basic configuration parameter information of the base station from a Dynamic Host Control Protocol (DHCP) server; and the rescue base station transmits the requested basic configuration parameter information of the base station to the base station. The present invention is beneficial to decrease the manual intervention and reduce the operation cost, effectively ensures that the self-configuration process and the subsequent Self-Organized Network (SON) process are performed favorably and greatly enhances the robustness of the base station itself and the SON process.
