摘要

The invention relates to novel 2,7,12,17-aryl porphycene compounds having general formula 1 and metal complexes derived therefrom. In addition, the invention relates to a method for obtaining same. The invention further relates to the use of the novel 2,7,12,17-aryl porphycenes as photosensitisers in antimicrobial photodynamic therapy for the treatment and/or prevention of diseases or conditions caused by pathogenic micro-organisms.
