The invention consists, specifically, of a device for the experimental demonstration of the phenomenon of negative refraction at microwave frequency, for the purposes of teaching about metamaterials. The aim of the demonstration is to show the negative deflection to which a microwave beam is subjected when it passes through a prism made using a "left-handed" medium.
