Provided is a device capable of adequately detecting the occurrence of earth-faults.　 A photovoltaic power generation device is provided with: collector boxes (2), each having collector box-side detectors (22) for detecting earth-faults in solar cell strings (10), switches (23) provided to correspond to each of the solar cell strings (10) and disposed between the solar cell strings (10) and a connection cable, and a control device (20) for controlling the switching of the switches (23) in response to the detection result from the detectors (22); and a power conditioner (4) having a detector (42) for detecting earth-faults in a connection cable (3) between the collector boxes (2) and a power conditioner (4), a switch (43) disposed between the connection cable (3) and an inverter device (41), and a control device (40) for controlling the switching of the switch (43) in accordance with the detection result from the detector (42).
