The objective of the present invention is to provide a thin and light weft knitted fabric that has a soft drape and high stretchiness, a method for producing the weft knitted fabric, and a garment produced using the weft knitted fabric. The single weft knitted fabric is formed by feeding a core-sheath conjugate elastic fiber thread (A) wherein a polyurethane elastomer is disposed at the core and a polyester polymer or a polyamide polymer is disposed at the sheath, and a non-elastic fiber thread (B) into the same knitting courses of a knitting machine, controlling so as to selectively guide the non-elastic fiber thread (B) to a knit position or a miss position at each needle of a knitting unit, and knitting.
