BICC SIGNALING FRONT END PROCESSOR, SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR BICC COLOR RING IVR SERVICE

The present invention discloses a Bearer Independent Call Control (BICC) signaling front end processor, a system and method for BICC color ring Interactive Voice Response (IVR) service using in the 3G R4 network based on the BICC protocol. The BICC signaling front end processor (30) includes: a receiving module (10), used for receiving BICC protocol message from the core network element and receiving the internal interface protocol message from the Application Server (AS) during the processing of IVR service initialed by the user; a transforming module (20), used for transforming the BICC protocol message from the core network element to the internal interface protocol message and sending the internal interface protocol message to the AS, and transforming the internal interface protocol message from the AS to the BICC protocol message and sending the BICC protocol message to the core network element. The present invention can realize the color ring IVR service on the 3G R4 network by using the AS and the Media Server (MS) based on the Session Initialization Protocol (SIP) and also by using the BICC signaling front end processor.
