The training device has a seesaw (16) supporting a person and pivoted with respect to a seesaw stand (19). A drive device has a motor and a gear that comprises gear elements for swivel driving the seesaw. A grip element (100) i.e. handle, movably grippable by the person is held by the person against the brake gravitational force. A connector arrangement (102a) is displaceable by stress i.e. tensile stress, by the grip element. The grip element is movably coupled by pivoting the seesaw by the connector arrangement.
