The present invention relates to a method for selectively detecting only mutation, by using a PNA (peptide nucleic acid) probe that binds specifically to the wild-type codon 315 (T315) of the ABL gene exon 6 in a BCR-ABL fusion gene, such that wild-type amplification is inhibited. The present invention also relates to a kit for use with the method.
