A Color Ring Back Tone (CRBT) service processing method and CRBT service system are provided by the present invention, wherein, the CRBT service processing method, which is provided for a CRBT service system in which the call nodes and the management nodes are framed separately, includes: stopping the update synchronization of the CRBT service between the call nodes and the management nodes (S202); performing upgrade or data cutover for the CRBT service of the management nodes (S204); stopping the CRBT call service of the call nodes, and performing the CRBT call service of the call nodes by the management nodes which is updated or for which data cutover is performed (S206); performing upgrade or data cutover for the CRBT service of the call nodes (S208); re-starting the update synchronization of the CRBT service between the call nodes and the management nodes (S210); stopping the CRBT call service of the management nodes, and performing the CRBT call service again by the call nodes which is updated or for which data cutover is performed (S212). With the present invention, the effects of improving the experience of a user, reducing the difficulty for upgrading an edition and cutover data, and avoiding the risk of failing backspace of upgrade or data cutover are achieved.
