A track order determination device comprises a beat information compensation unit, a correlation value computation unit, and a track order determination unit. When a composition is played, the beat information compensation unit acquires beat location information which includes at least information relating to the time at which the beat is played, and a tempo value which denotes the beat count per unit of time in the composition. If the tempo value differs from a prescribed reference value, the beat information compensation unit compensates the beat location information of the composition such that the tempo value of the composition will be the same value as the reference value. The correlation value computation unit computes correlation values which denote degrees of correlation of the beat location information among respective compositions of a plurality of compositions on the basis of the beat location information when the tempo value is the same value as the reference value. The track order determination unit determines the track order which is the order in which a prescribed number of compositions will be played on the basis of the correlation values between the respective compositions.
