A single-phase high-voltage testing transformer includes a core (1) with two columns. A low-voltage winding (12, 15) and a high- voltage winding (2, 3) are provided around each core column in sequence from inside to outside. The high- voltage windings (2, 3) around the two columns are connected in series. The initial terminal and the end terminal of the high-voltage winding (2, 3) are led out respectively from an oil casing (9). The low- voltage windings (12, 15) around the two columns are led out respectively from the oil casing (9), and two groups of low -voltage outlet terminals of the low-voltage windings (12, 15) are connected in series or in parallel outside the oil casing (9). The high-voltage testing transformer is applied to an ultra-high voltage testing line, solving the problems of high voltage and low impedance, and having an advantage of low impedance voltage drop of the transformer.
