A MULTIMEDIA SEARCH METHOD AND ENGINE, A META-SEARCH SERVER, AND CLIENT

A multimedia search method and engine, a meta-search server, and a client are provided. The method includes the following steps. A search condition sent by a client is received. The search condition includes a feature extraction algorithm ID and a feature value extracted according to a feature extraction algorithm corresponding to the feature extraction algorithm ID. A member multimedia search engine corresponding to the feature extraction algorithm ID is selected according to the feature extraction algorithm ID. A search request including the feature extraction algorithm ID and the feature value is sent to the member multimedia search engine for search.
