A polymeric composition comprising modified-TiO₂ nanoparticles, with or without a solvent, and polymer precursors; wherein the modified-TiO₂ nanoparticles comprise titanium dioxide nanoparticles modified with a short-chain unsaturated compound comprising 2 to 10 carbon atoms. The polymeric composition may be used in dental compositions such as dental adhesives, dental composites, and dental sealants.
