The method involves cooling an inner chamber of a cooling box with a Peltier element (6) in a temporary manner. A voltage, particularly an alternating voltage (7), is applied on an electrical input of the cooling box for energy supply of the Peltier element. An independent claim is also included for a controlling- or regulating device for controlling and regulating the energy supply of a Peltier element of a cooling box.
