A method and an application system for image picking and playing of which work sequence is interleaved switched, the application system includes: at least one transparent display panel is provided to an observer ahead of it to watch the played image menu; at least an image pick-up device, which is behind the transparent display panel, is provided to pick the image ahead of it through the transparent display panel; and at least a control circuit controls the work sequence of the transparent display panel and the image pick-up device, and makes the transparent display panel and the image pick-up device can implement playing work and picking work respectively by the sequence interleaved switch mode, so that the two works do not influence or interfere each other.
